Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 19 August 2026

OmegaPi Consulting aims to maintain fair and transparent arrangements where a client wishes to cancel a service or request a refund.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any quotation, scope or engagement terms applicable to a particular assignment.

1. General Principle

Refund and cancellation decisions depend on:

  • Whether work has commenced

  • The amount of work already completed

  • Third-party costs already incurred

  • Materials or deliverables already supplied

  • The reason for cancellation

  • The terms agreed for the specific engagement

  • Applicable consumer-protection requirements

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove a refund or cancellation right provided by applicable law.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

Where a client cancels an engagement before OmegaPi Consulting has commenced substantive work, the client may request cancellation.

Where appropriate, amounts already paid may be refunded, less any reasonable and properly incurred non-recoverable charges connected with the engagement.

Examples may include approved third-party charges already paid on the client’s behalf.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Where substantive work has already begun, any refund will take into account:

  • Work already completed

  • Professional time already committed

  • Deliverables already produced

  • Approved third-party expenses

  • Non-recoverable costs incurred for the assignment

The refundable amount, if any, will therefore depend on the stage of the project when cancellation occurs.

OmegaPi Consulting will not charge a client for work that has not been performed merely because the entire original project value had been quoted, except where an applicable agreed fee is reasonably non-recoverable and legally permissible.

4. Completed Services

Where the agreed service has been substantially completed and delivered according to the agreed scope, a refund will not ordinarily be available merely because the client:

  • Changes their mind

  • No longer requires the work

  • Chooses not to use the deliverable

  • Expected a result that was never guaranteed

This does not affect any applicable right concerning services that were not properly provided.

5. Failure to Deliver an Agreed Service

If OmegaPi Consulting is unable to provide an agreed service for reasons attributable to us, we may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Correct the issue;

  • Complete the outstanding service;

  • Agree an alternative solution; or

  • Refund the appropriate amount relating to the unprovided portion.

Where no substantive part of a paid service has been provided and the engagement cannot proceed because of OmegaPi Consulting, an appropriate refund should be provided.

6. Regulatory and Third-Party Applications

Some services involve independent authorities or third-party platforms.

Examples include:

  • CAC applications

  • Regulatory filings

  • Online platforms

  • External registration systems

  • Third-party software

  • Government or institutional processes

Payment for OmegaPi Consulting’s professional support does not guarantee that the relevant third party will approve an application or produce a particular outcome.

A refusal, delay or rejection by an independent authority does not automatically mean that OmegaPi Consulting’s service fee is refundable where the agreed professional work has been properly performed.

However, third-party fees that are refundable by the relevant provider will be handled according to that provider’s applicable process.

7. Incorrect Information Provided by a Client

Where an application, document or deliverable must be repeated because the client provided inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information, additional work may attract an additional charge.

Refunds will not ordinarily be provided for work that must be corrected solely because of inaccurate client-supplied information, provided OmegaPi Consulting performed the original work according to the information supplied.

8. Proposal, Career and Application Outcomes

No refund is due merely because:

  • A proposal does not receive funding

  • An EOI is unsuccessful

  • A tender is not awarded

  • A job application does not result in an interview

  • A candidate is not selected

  • A scholarship is unsuccessful

  • A business-registration application is rejected by an authority

provided OmegaPi Consulting delivered the professional service within the agreed scope.

Such outcomes depend on independent decision-makers and are not guaranteed.

9. Revision Requests

Where a concern can reasonably be resolved through revisions already included in the engagement, OmegaPi Consulting may first provide the applicable revision rather than immediately issue a refund.

This does not restrict rights available under applicable law.

10. Digital and Custom Deliverables

Many OmegaPi Consulting services involve customised professional work prepared specifically for a client.

Examples include:

  • Company profiles

  • Proposals

  • Policies

  • CVs

  • Reports

  • Branding materials

  • Research-support documents

  • Project tools

  • Maps

  • Dashboards

  • Digital forms

Because substantial professional work may already have been performed before the final file is delivered, refund eligibility will be assessed based on the stage and circumstances of the engagement rather than solely on whether a final file has been downloaded.

11. Consultation or Appointment Cancellation

Where OmegaPi Consulting introduces paid consultations or appointment bookings, the specific cancellation or rescheduling period will be displayed at the point of booking.

14. Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, OmegaPi Consulting will communicate:

  • The approved amount

  • Any reasonable deduction and its basis

  • The applicable refund method

  • Any relevant processing information

Where reasonably practicable, refunds should be returned through an appropriate payment method.

Banking or payment-provider processing times may apply after a refund has been initiated.

15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact OmegaPi Consulting promptly where there is a genuine billing or service concern so that the matter can be reviewed.

Nothing in this provision removes rights available through an applicable payment provider, consumer-protection authority or law.
